What to expect
Pricing
The pricing listed below is a general estimate to give you an idea of how much I charge per project. The actual price for commissioning me will depend on the scope of the project you are hiring me for, and will be specific to your project needs and budget. I will provide a total cost estimate with different options for your project.
Of course, I will be sure to iron out any details with you before I begin the project, including total cost, payment schedule, and start-to-finish timeline for the project.
I do offer pricing on a sliding scale for low-income customers!
Timeline
I like to keep my clients as involved as they would like to be in the process. I am always available to answer any questions about the process, what you can expect, or feedback on how the project is progressing. Smaller projects generally take 1-2 weeks, and bigger projects can take anywhere from 1-9 months.

Pricing
Per page – $40 – $80
Concept art – $10 – $50 per illustration
I offer;
- Test sketch/ concept art
- Full spread illustrations. (4-9 months to complete full project)
- Cover art (1-2 months to complete)
- Some Typesetting and print formatting (+2 weeks to a month.)
- Promotional bundles, including stickers, posters, bookmarks, etc.
Concept art includes concepts and ideas for characters, style, and aesthetic. You can hire me to create a test sketch to see if my style captures the vibe you’re looking for for your book. A great example is the knight and pig sketch I created for Sir Oinkus and Pig Charming, (top of page.)
Sketches and rough drafts of illustrated spreads for your book are included in the asking price for full spread illustrations.

FAQ
Once we are in touch, we can start chatting about your project, what you have in mind for it, and how much input you want to have in the process. We’ll be sure to iron out pricing, timing, etc, so you have a good idea of what to expect.
When do I pay?
You can choose to pay the whole total up front, or half at the beginning of the project and half when the art piece is complete. Currently, I am accepting payments through Paypal.
How long will my art piece take?
Depending on the piece, completing a work can take anywhere from one afternoon to a couple of months. I will be sure to give you an overview of how long I expect your project to take. For longer projects like full book illustrations, you can expect several months. For projects that include sticker sets, multiple illustrations, etc. you can expect a few months as well. Every other medium project will generally take 1-2 months. Smaller projects take a few weeks.
What formats can I receive my art piece in?
I will send you a zip file with your finished piece in any digital format you like, as well as printable files with CMYK color profiles and dimensions so you can print your pieces if you would like to do so. Any information or tips you need about where and how to print art I can help you out with! I can also send you prints of your pieces in the mail. Dimensions and shipping details are limited to what supplies are available.
What information do I need from you about your piece?
I will need;
- Brief description of the concept.
- dimensions of the picture (shape, size, etc.)
- Posing and framing of characters/ subjects of piece. (if you know already what you want)
- colors, style, and mood (if you know already what you want)
If you like, I can send you a google form with questions about your art piece to help you get a better idea about what you want.
Will I receive updates about my piece?
For more complex projects, I will stay in touch throughout. Otherwise, you can always ask for updates on how your project is going at anytime.
Can I ask for a refund or revisions of my commission if I don’t like it?
For the full refund policy, please see the ‘terms and conditions.’ Included in the commission process are opportunities to review concept art and make adjustments before I complete the final piece. I will make sure I understand what you want before I make anything final!
