An Odd Little Mini Comic
I have always been the kind of person to let my imagination get away from me. I’m certain I am not the first person ever to make the observation that if an old-timey mystic like Jon Dee ever saw one of our smartphones he would probably make a comparison to his own famous method of scrying – a black mirror. I thought this was a fun idea, and made a goofy comic about how our phones, unlike the glassy obsidian scrying mirrors, can only grant us untold knowledge when they’re turned on. Of course, they don’t provide the kind of earth-shattering, mystical knowledge you might imagine. You can’t speak to angels or demons by peering into it. (Ostensibly.) But if you turn it off, the blank screen looks enough like a smooth piece that maybe, with some patience, you could peer into the mystic beyond. 😀 ooOOoooOooOoo!!
